All TPM sensors manufactured today are triggered in one of three basic ways, i.e. magnetically, electronically with a continuous wave, or electronically with a modulated or patterned wave. Tool is designed with a special sensor-triggering magnet as well as, a frequency wave generator capable of transmitting 125 KHz continuous waves and multiple formats of 125 KHz modulated waves. This make T.I.P.S. the truly UNIVERSAL triggering tool and eliminates the need to purchase multiple tools from other suppliers in order to service all makes and models.*

In addition to triggering TPM sensors after a tire change or rotation, the T.I.P.S. Pro provides audible and visual confirmation of sensor transmission and communication with the vehicle. This diagnostic feature allows service establishments to test the TPM sensor prior to removing the wheel from the vehicle thereby eliminating any responsibility for the cost of replacing a defective sensor which often exceeds $ 100 in cost. The T.I.P.S Pro is also a useful diagnostic tool for sorting and evaluating TPM sensors, which often look alike but work differently. In this way you are assured that you have the correct TPM sensor on the right vehicle.

The Pro model allows you to manually select the desired electronic triggering protocol or you may simply activate the tool to allow the "hunting" feature to automatically choose the correct solution. The Pro model is digital and can be upgraded with new pulse modulated protocols as they become available in the future.*
